How Alabo works
Five pillars, one dashboard, and a simple weekly rhythm.
Everything fits into five
We believe every part of your life fits into one of these five. Together, they make up the whole of you.
- WellnessThe health of your body and mind.
- PurposeThe meaning you find in what you do.
- RelationshipsThe strength of your connections with others.
- FunThe joy you find in your free time.
- FinancesThe security of your finances, now and for the future.
Choose the areas that matter
In each pillar, pick up to four areas to track, like Running, Sleep, Work or Friends, or track the pillar as a whole. Each area becomes a dot on your dashboard.
An example. You choose your own areas, up to four in each pillar.
Where to focus, on your home screen
Your dashboard sits on your home screen as a widget, so every glance at your phone is a quiet reminder of what’s going well and what needs some attention.
An example widget. Each dot is the colour you gave that area at your check-in.
A simple weekly rhythm
Weeks run Monday to Sunday. Here’s how one goes.
Check in
On the day you choose, give every area the colour that fits the week just finished. Each starts with how it felt; later you can define what a good week means to you, like 7 hours’ sleep a night.
Small steps
When an area has a red or amber week, pick one small thing to do each day until it’s back. Tick it off in the app or on the widget.
Pulse PREMIUM
A quick look halfway through, so you can act before your check-in. Your pulse never changes your week’s colours.
Examples. Alabo never sets a colour for you: you give each area its colour yourself.
Your month, in a few taps
After your last check-in of each month, Alabo puts together a short story of it: your colours, your brightest pillar, a green run and an area that turned around, all worked out from your own weeks. Share any card, with area names hidden unless you choose to show them. Premium adds new patterns, your Apple Health month and your mid-week pulse.
